RIP: Nollywood Film Maker, Amaka Igwe

Respected Nollywood filmmaker, Amaka Igwe has been reportedly pronounced dead!

The iconic Nollywood figure, who is responsible for some of the popular sitcoms and TV soaps reportedly passed on last night, April 28, 2014.

Amaka, who hails from Obinagu, Enugu, Nigeria is survived by her husband and kids.

She was the creator of popular TV soap, Checkmate and Fuji House of Commotion as well as the founder of Amaka Igwe Studios and Top FM Radio.
